About the Position: HOHS is seeking a strong, self-directed candidate to work part time as a Development Associate. This position would work closely with HOHS’s Executive Director on fundraising events, campaign development and fulfillment, major gift solicitation, corporate and foundation outreach, civic and faith organizations, create content and calendar for communications, (integrated with fundraising plan), and more.
3 Years Nonprofit Fundraising Experience
Demonstrated Success in Fundraising with a Nonprofit Organization
Experience with Donor Platforms and Giving Platforms (Bloomerang and Network for Good a plus)
Adept at Soliciting Financial Support from Foundations and Corporations
Experience in Fundraising Events
Background in Fundraising Campaign Development
Knowledge of and Experience in Major Gift Solicitation
Ability to Use Social Media in Fundraising Efforts
The Development Associate will work from home (must have own computer, internet, and printer) for approximately 20 hours per week. Applicants should be located within 2 hour drive of Asheville, NC or be able to come onsite roughly 2x/month. Stipend is $1,000 per month.
